                               I really love this picture simply because you can tell that this man has been through something. Not because of his eyepatch but just because of the expression he gives on his face just helps you feel what he feels. He seems to feel tired, or maybe even hurt. Yet you can also feel his some what smirk he gives. He has this tone to his presence and it just illuminates the picture entirely.

                                  The background looks good because with someone who has such character, you cant take away from that with this backdrop that has a bunch going on. In anyone’s portrait you don’t want to take away from their unique personality whether it shows in the picture or not. As a photographer we must try our best to capture the true roots of a person and their story.
