Focus: Understanding the 7 formal elements of photography

7 Elements of Art in Photography Blog Assignment

  1. Visit this website (click here!) to further your understanding of the elements of art. You will need to click through every section at the bottom to read about the following elements: line, shape, form, texture, color, size, and depth.  (Notice that these elements are slightly different from the video, yet they cover the same general concepts.)
  2. Create a new blog titled: “Elements of Art in Photography.”

For EACH of the 7 elements include the following in your blog post:

  • The name of the element, then…
  • A good quality photo example demonstrating that element found online.
  • Come up with 2 quiz questions (for each element) along with the answers.
