- Take about 15 minutes to add your artist statement to your Storytelling Through Photography blog post. Explain what motifs or themes you borrowed from the art history/iconic reference and what you were hoping to express or convey with your version. Take some time to edit for spelling, grammar, and clarity.
- Add your photo to the Padlet gallery with your name in the subject and the link to your blog post under the photo (not in the caption, but where you get to type).
- Fill out the critique handout provided in class to analyze some of the work of your classmates. Turn in to me by the end of the period.
Month: December 2023
Monday 12/11/23: Turn in Final Project and Study for Final Test!
Sorry I’m out today. Please turn in your final project today, even if it’s not done yet. Then use the study guide materials I provided in Teams to study for your final test on finals day.
If you need time to finish any assignments, I’ll be available after school everyday on Tues, Wed, and Thurs.
Final Project and Other Info
This week we will work on putting together a PowerPoint featuring some of your photographic work as the final project that you’ll turn in this semester! Can you believe it’s almost over??
The PowerPoint is due on Monday December 11, 2023. It is worth 25 summative points. Download the PowerPoint and save to your OneDrive:
Final Project: Photo Class Recap PPT
On finals day: we will have a short quiz covering camera angles, rules of composition, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. I added more links and resources to the current Teams assignment* titled “Study Guides for Final Test”. (*The study guide assignment is not worth points; this is just for links to PowerPoints and Practice Quizzes.)
After the final test on finals day, we will share our Final Project PowerPoints with the class!
Got missing work? Please turn in NO LATER THAN the end of YOUR class period on your Finals Day (either Tues, Wed, or Thurs):
