Lightroom + Photoshop Portrait Tutorials

All screenshots need to be placed on a Word document to attach here when you turn in on Teams.
1.
Lightroom Tutorials:
Open Lightroom.
Click on the lightbulb Learn icon.
In the filter menus above: change the subject matter to: people.
Change the level to: Intermediate (you can select advanced instead if you prefer).
Choose 4 portrait tutorials that you haven’t completed before (make sure the people are not too far). See screenshot below.
Take a screenshot when you complete each tutorial (don’t click on the happy/sad faces until you get the screenshot!)

Photoshop Tutorials:
Open Photoshop.
Click on lightbulb Learn icon.
At the top, click on Help, then click on Hands-On Tutorials…
In the search bar type “portrait”. Scroll down to the Hands-On Tutorials section to find a variety of tutorials to choose from. See screenshots below.
Choose 2 portrait based tutorials that sound interesting to you.
Take a screenshot at the end of each tutorial.

Photoshop Tutorials

Due Oct 31st

We will be doing more Photoshop composites soon!
  1. Open Photoshop (if it asks you to sign in, choose to sign in with Microsoft).
  2. Click on the lightbulb Learn icon.
  3. Complete the 4 Photoshop tutorials at the top: 1) Get to know your app, 2) Get to know layers, 3) Get to know selections, and 4) Resize an image. (See screenshot below.)
  4. Take a screenshot of your result at the end of each tutorial.
  5. Place the 4 screenshots on a Word document and attach in the Teams assignment to turn in.
Tips: 
  • If you are already on a tool it asks you to select, you may need to click on another tool then back again before it allows you to continue.
  • Always read the important info in the blue bubbles!
  • You can move the instructional window around if it’s covering the part you’re working on.
  • Go slow and be patient. Don’t hurry through them or else you won’t learn as much. 🙂
